Long on ideas and short on time, Dianne Rigdon is a creative wife and mother who manages to squeeze enough hours out of the day to design digital goodies for you!
As indicated by her early product line “Shabby Elements”, Dianne’s specialty is the shabby, messy, artsy style, with a little whimsy thrown in for good measure. She is entranced by playful color combination and worn textures and enjoys the process of creative exploration as it relates to digital scrapbook design.
“Scrapbooking has become more than the preserving of memories. It is a sensual, delicious art form that allows us to explore and express our emotions and memories with many rich designs and textures. Digital Scrapbooking is a new extension of this expression, one that speaks to my heart. I have had no greater reward than being satisfied with a scrumptious new layout or exquisite digital kit design. I love how interactive and instant it is, with all of the opportunities to post and share in online galleries and share with people from all over the world.”
Dianne came to digital scrapbooking in 2004. After several years as a custom personal website designer she longed to return to her crafting roots, but small children and a busy life made that difficult. The marriage of scrapbooking with the digital arts was the perfect creative outlet.
Dianne’s brand, Dianne Rigdon Design, is familiar to digital scrapbookers around the world. An integral member of the digital scrapbooking community, Dianne’s brand of humor and compassion mingled with gentle honesty has made her many allies in the scrapbooking community at large.
When she’s not in design mode, Dianne is a homeschooling mom to three and wife of 17! years to a computer programmer. Her house may not always be spotless . . . but there’s often something “crafty” in the works.
