I did NOT take the picture….2x

1. Ian, in the midst of a severe bout with Croup also managed to find the time and energy to give himself a hair cut. You know. The kind that can’t really be fixed except by shaving the head. Why do they always do it in the MOST conspicuous location? “Son? Was your head with you all day?” Anyway, I didn’t yell or get mad. I just asked him if he MEANT to do that and did he MEAN to do it THAT WAY and did he know he owes me $17 for the fancy haircut I paid for RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS! Hehe. He just laughs.

2. I made the bestest breakfast today. I mixed up several different new weight watcher’s recipes when I was at the grocery store. This is how it turned out: I lightly pan fried low carb flour tortilla’s in olive oil until slightly crispy. I spread a tablespoon or so of ricotta cheese. Then I put scrambled eggs (flavored with a little garlic and salt) on top, some Parmesan cheese, a little salsa, and some sauteed vegies – mushrooms, onions, roma tomatoes. Then I heated them in a preheated 325 oven for five minutes. While they had a little cultural confusion – Italian vs. Spanish/Mexican – they were still Magnifique!

(If you noticed, I added a sneak preview of some goodies about to be released….watch for it – you won’t be sorry!)

  1. LOL Dianne! Kids and scissors don’t mix well. My eldest has given himself a snip or two but also gave his brother one too but I think they learnt their lessons. And your breakfast does sound delish….mmmmm.

My 6yo did the same thing last week! He was playing with some blue poster putty and got some in his hair. Instead of telling me about it, he grabbed some scissors. Nothing can fix it except a total head-shave, which he refuses to do. I guess he’ll just go to school tomorrow like that! LOL!

Haha must have to do with being on a break from the regular routine – I guess everyone has to do this once?! LOL.
